Anna Atkins
Anna Atkins was born in 16 March 1799 and died in 9 June 1871 Tonbridge, Kent, England. She was a scientist who is also the founder of Cyanotypes. She created cyanotypes because they are more accurate then drawing the object. She was also the first person to publish a book with illustrated with photographic images. She is said to be the first person to create a photograph. |

Scientists used to rely on artists to draw the object they needed but the thing is that not all artists can draw something completely accurate. But now there are cyanotypes that are good at giving an accurate picture of the object you need.

I probably could have left it in the sun a little longer because its too dark and faded but the shapes turned out well. There also a few drops on the paper which I like because they are oddly lined up apart from a few anomalous ones. Furthermore, the rough edges where the blue doesnt reach can look rather interesting. |

I liked this one the most because the objects turned out really well and they didn't fade too much. Much like the first image there is also a drop of water on this one except that it is only one drop and it is much larger tham the ones on the first image. |
